What is the correct number of elves?

I guess it all depends. I personally opt for the “as many as necessary” school of elferizationing. Yes, it’s a word.

In other circumstances it might be unseemly to get out the goods this early, but given I’m only here for another two-ish weeks, I decided I could pull out some of my shiny bits. It makes me feel better. So last Friday, I came home from studio, cleaned up the biohazards in my kitchen etc etc etc (read generously between the lines here) and then, at the crack of 11 pm, opened the Xmas deco boxes. And a bottle of wine. And the right music.

Basically, I played dolls for two hours, and had a sing-a-long. You should have been here!!

How many elves were you seeing after the bottle of wine was done? And how was your head feeling the next morning?

Of course one didn’t finish the entire bottle in one sitting, so one’s head was fine the next morning. It was staying up until after 2 that did me in…now that I am so old, the recovery time is longer.
